What We Believe

At 1 Church Delano, we believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Lord and Savior.

We believe the Holy Bible is the complete, inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, without error and the final authority for our faith, doctrine, and daily living.

We believe salvation comes by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and that through His death and resurrection, all who believe in Him can receive forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.

We believe in the present-day ministry, power, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, who equips, empowers, and guides believers to live godly lives, serve others, and advance the Kingdom of God.

We believe in water baptism by full immersion for those who have personally professed faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an act of obedience and a public declaration of faith, symbolizing our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) is reserved for believers in Jesus Christ, observed in remembrance of His sacrifice, His shed blood, and His promised return.

We believe the Church is more than a building—it is a family of believers united in faith, committed to loving God, loving people, serving our community, and sharing the life-changing hope of Jesus Christ.

One God. One Faith. One Family. One Church.
